Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (Pharmacy) started its journey under the able guidance of Late Shri. Raj Kumar Goel Ji, an eminent educationist, and a philanthropist, in 2004. His legacy is now carried forward by the current Chairman, Shri. Dinesh Kumar Goel Ji. RKGIT (Pharmacy) has 16 well equipped, multifocal Laboratories which are equipped with modern and sophisticated instruments like HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, Brookfield viscometer, Humidity cabinet, Lyophilizer, Rotary and single stroke tablet compression machine, Capsule filling and sealing machine, Laminar air flow cabinet, autoclave to name a few. The students are familiarized with these instruments, encountered in modern pharmaceutical industries. Herbal garden with more than 100 species of medicinal plants and CPCSEA approved Animal House is also available. A separate seminar hall with a seating capacity of 100 persons is available in institute’s building. The RKGIT (Pharmacy) digital library and stocks. Approximately 9,000 volumes with approx. 1700 titles. Subscribes 18 national and 6 International Journals in print version. The pharmacy student can freely access total 275 e-journals from DELNET and Science direct and 200 e-books along with latest multi-media learning resources. Book bank facilities are provided to all students. The students are provided with a platform to interact with eminent personalities from the industries by organising seminars, guest lectures and workshops on a regular basis. RKGIT (Pharmacy) promotes imparting quality education to aspiring pharmacists so that they can prove themselves to be worthy part of the rapidly evolving and dynamic Health Care System Globally.

Department Key Highlights

• Institute has received a MODROB grant of Rs. 6.6 lakhs by AICTE in the year 2020-21..
• Institute has been granted a research project amounting to Rs. 12.5 lakhs under RPS by AICTE in the year 2021-22.
• The institute has been granted a research project amounting to five lacs by AKTU Lucknow.
• 80 M-pharm students and 7 Ph. D scholars have completed their dissertations from the institute while almost 16 scholars are pursuing their Ph. D work.
• Almost 150 research articles have been published by the student and faculties in reputed journals.
• The students have developed innovative low cost working models of FBD, Dissolution test apparatus, Tray dryer and heart rate sensor which have won accolades at national competition “SPIRIT” at IIT BHU.
• A compulsory one-month industrial training is organized after completion of third year and student are provided industrial exposure in reputed Pharma companies. More than 90% students are placed in every year.
• Many alumini are pursuing their Ph. D and M. Pharm from various universities of repute.
• Innovation Hub, in association with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, organized an Innovative Pitch-in Session for Pharmacy Students “PHARMAPRENEURS” ON 24th May 2022. The students of RKGIT (Pharmacy), Ghaziabad were the winner of PHARAMAPRENEURS program.

PEO Enjoy successful careers in all settings of Pharma sector, by engaging themselves in professional development through leadership, communication skills, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.

PEO Function ethically and lawfully in professional environment and exhibit good competency in their work culture.

PEO Act as a link between healthcare system and community, so as to serve the society by the transmitting their knowledge, with a sense of social responsibility.

PEO Participate in lifelong learning through advanced degrees, continuing education and/or professional activities.
