About Department

The course on business administration is well designed to improve the students understanding towards the strategic and scientific approach of management. It prepares the students to be a part of reputed organizations and take-up leadership and managerial roles in the various fields of marketing, finance, human resource, etc. The basic purpose of MBA programme is to bring in an attitudinal change among the students, to develop their leadership qualities and finally to mould them into competent managers. The two year full time course, affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (formerly UPTU), Lucknow, is divided into 4 semesters. The subjects covered in each semester are designed to equip students with modern management concepts and techniques relating it to the real life situations. The Course provides comprehensive exposure in all aspects of business thereby creating strong foundation for the development of skills and knowledge leading to professional as well as academic excellence. Dual specialization scheme as prescribed by AKTU is followed wherein the students can opt from areas like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, International Business, Information Technology and Operation Management.
